This electric furnace module is designed for use as either a primary heat source or as auxiliary heating within a heat pump system. It delivers 10 kW (34,120 BTU/hr) of heating capacity using a 240V single-phase power supply.The unit can be directly mounted to compatible Unico System air handlers (models 2430, 3036, 3642, 4860) or installed in the supply duct downstream as a duct heater. It incorporates several safety features, including an automatic high-temperature limit, fuse link backup, and an air pressure switch. Time-delay sequencers ensure a gradual power draw for softer starts.
