The Dryerbox Model 425 is designed for upward dryer exhaust venting, typically in new construction with 2x6 walls, though it can fit 2x4 walls using furring strips. This versatile box can also be installed for downward venting (for stacked or pedestal dryers) or horizontally, providing flexibility for various installation scenarios.Constructed using a deep-drawn manufacturing process in the USA, this model features durable 22-gauge aluminized steel. It includes an extension rim protruding 7/8" from the nailing flange, eight 1/4" mounting holes for secure attachment, and tapered sides for efficient nesting during transport and storage. The surface is clean and paint-ready, and a gas port knock-out is incorporated. An instruction sheet is attached to the rear panel for convenience.
