ATCO #031 is a UL 181, Class 1 Air Duct manufactured with a tri-directional fiberglass scrim reinforced, metallized polyester outer jacket. Its air-tight inner core is designed for low-to-medium operating pressures in residential and commercial HVAC systems. The #031 model features increased R-8 insulation for superior thermal performance compared to standard ducts.Constructed with a double lamination of tough polyester encapsulating a steel wire helix, the inner core ensures durability and prevents fiberglass erosion. It is wrapped in a thick blanket of fiberglass insulation and sheathed in a rugged, metallized polyester jacket. This duct is suitable for indoor use as a complete air duct system or as a branch duct connecting to terminal devices.
